The National Flag of The Isle Of Man

Isle Of Man Trinacria The Isle Of Man is located in the Irish Sea and is about equidistant from the shores of Ireland, Scotland, and England. The use of the Trinacria by the Isle Of Man is said to date from the 1300s. Some references say it came from Sicily and one reference says it probably originated with the Vikings. As you can see, it differs from the Sicilian version in several respects. The legs are sheathed in armor and there is no depiction of the Gorgon, Medusa in the center.
