A world without Mary | |||

She loved Seattle rain and it was sweeter for her presence The coffee shops were splendid in her eyes Mary loved people and never was too busy for a little talk Hedges of Rosemary sight and smell small delights on walks The sounds and sights of Puget Sound were sweet to her senses. Her boundless love was there for us to treasure Generous and kind with no end of measure. She loved her Love without reserve and to many of us she gave more than we deserved. We loved her in return how could we not? But we find it hard to smile as much In a world without Mary. |
