This picture of my parents dates from about 1925. According to Ship Passenger Arrival Records, my father arrived at the New York port of entry on February 2, 1916 on board the SS Patria that had left Palermo on January 18.
My mother arrived four years later on February 20, 1920 aboard the SS Europa. With her were her two children, aged 5 and 3 and my aunt Antoinette who was then 21 and single.
